Universal Studios in Hollywood is offering a 'Wicked' experience
Times of discover News: As fans anticipate the Nov. 22 release of the movie "Wicked," Universal Studios in Hollywood was decked out in pink and green on Tuesday, offering themed food, drinks and merchandise. Visitors to the theme park can enjoy menu items inspired by the Land of Oz Studio Cafe for a limited time, such as the Apple Pie Fantail Cake, which features apple pie filling topped with whipped cream and green and gold sugar icing.
The cafe also offers the Roasted Corn Flatbread, which features roasted corn and peppers with a mayonnaise and garlic base and sprinkled with cheese in the shape of the Oz logo. The theme park also sells Drizmatic Corn Dogs as well as "Wicked" themed corn dogs that are topped with avocado cream with golden flakes. A photo spot has also been set up inside the theme park as "Wicked" fans count down to Nov. 22 to see the theatrical retelling of the famous Broadway musical.
Green and pink merchandise is now available at the Universal Studios Store, including a green hoodie that says "Know Your Power" as well as a hot pink hoodie, pink mountain and note pad that fans of Glinda Cain will love.

Moviegoers will have the opportunity to see "Wicked" costumes at Universal Cinema, while those with a sweet tooth can enjoy Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen-themed milkshakes. Starbucks is also selling special bugs that are only sold at Universal parks in conjunction with the film's release. The menu items and limited-time merchandise will be available until early 2025.
"Wicked," which stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, will be released in the United States on Nov. 22, while the sequel "Wicked Part Two" is set for release on Nov. 21, 2025. Comcast is the parent company of NBCUniversal and CNBC. NBCUniversal is the distributor of "Wicked."
