Times of discover News: Lofty wowed an audience of nearly 18,000 during a headlining performance with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in August. The musician took the stage at the Hollywood Bowl and performed more than two dozen songs, 11 solo and 15 with the Philharmonic. Meanwhile, the cameras keep rolling. On Dec. 6, Lofty's concert film A Night at the Symphony: Hollywood Bowl will be released in select theaters and IMAX.

In a preview of the upcoming film, Lofty wowed the crowd with the final song of his set and his most popular release to date, "From the Start." The record appears on his second studio album, Bewitched. The 25-year-old artist played nearly the entire record, with a mix of songs from his sophomore debut, Everything I Know About Love. He also covers classics by Keely Smith and Jimmy Van Heusen.

"It's always been a dream of mine to perform my music with the LA Philharmonic," Lofty said in a statement. “It was great for me to be able to bring that concert to people beyond LA and the Hollywood Bowl, especially people coming from so many different parts of the world to see the role it played in inspiring my work and my artistic journey.” Last year, Lofy released the live album and concert video A Night at the Symphony, which he recorded with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. “Playing with an orchestra is so exciting because I grew up playing classical music, and I grew up within the walls of the orchestra,” he told Billboard Philippines earlier this year.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to combine that symphonic sound with my music, especially because it’s something that has really stood the test of time.” He added: “It’s some of the earliest music we can think of, and it’s been introduced into film scores and it continues to be an important piece of music after all this time. So I think I’m going to look at the symphony today as “A Little Difficult.” It takes away from the audience – especially for Gen Z.”

Lofi’s A Night at the Symphony: Hollywood Bowl is directed by Sam Ranch, who recently directed Taylor Swift’s concert film featuring the Eras Tour. “Seeing Lofi’s first concert at the Hollywood Bowl was a dream; cinematically stunning, with the scale and intimacy evident in Lofi’s music,” Ranch shares. “I can’t wait for everyone to be on the big screen.”
