Lady Gaga announces 'Joker 2' album 'Harlequin' with 13 songs; will release on this date

Lady Gaga is playing Harleen Quinzel in the musical sequel to DC's biggest drama Joker. Speaking about the film with Vogue, the pop star shared, 'I wrote a waltz for the film, with live pianist Alex Smith, who I invited to accompany me during my scenes.
There are moments in the film where I play an adult woman who sings like a little girl, walking through the world with a certain immaturity, which I find interesting.' Folie à Deux premiered at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month, where the audience applauded.
In the online video, the audience can be seen cheering, clapping for both Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix. The actor can be seen having a heart-to-heart conversation during the long applause.
The sequel to Todd Phillips' 2019 film Joker takes place after the events of the first film, with Arthur Fleck, aka the Joker, awaiting trial in an asylum. As the story progresses, he finds his true love and manages to escape. The film also stars Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener and Zazie Beetz.
