Hollywood Records has announced the release of the 'Agatha All Along' Volume 1 soundtrack

Times of discover News: Hollywood Records has released Marvel Television's Agatha All Along: Volume 1 (Episodes 1-5) Original Soundtrack, featuring the fan-favorite song "The Ballad of the Witch's Road," which was composed by Oscar-winning singer Kristen Anderson-Lopez and written by Robert Lopez and produced by Christophe Beck and Michael Paraskevas.

The digital album is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and other digital platforms. Listen to the official playlist below. Agatha All Along follows the mysterious witch Agatha Harkness, played by the talented Kathryn Hahn.

The series blends comedy, mystery, and supernatural elements, and the songs and score play a key role in driving the story forward and creating a unique atmosphere. Composers Christophe Beck and Michael Paraskevas, who also serve as composers for WandaVision, comment: "We love going back to the magical world of Westview to further explore Agatha's journey."

Faced with the challenge of expressing sympathy for a dark antihero, we subverted the traditional superhero sound and created an eclectic palette that was strange and perverse. Additionally, we interspersed Bobby and Kristen's catchy melodies throughout the show to create a seamless and musical undercurrent between the songs and the score.

As the Agatha troupe rehearsed one after another, the score transformed into many styles of music, all matching main themes and magical leitmotifs that followed the audience on the witch's path. The soundtrack includes four versions of "The Ballad of the Witch's Road" as well as score versions thematically and lyrically appropriate to the entire show, with different stylistic versions following different episodes.
