Former One Direction member Liam Payne has died at the age of 31

Times of discover News: Liam Payne tragically passed away on Wednesday, October 16. He was 31 years old. According to CNN, the former One Direction band member was found dead after falling from a third-floor hotel window in Buenos Aires.

The news outlet reported that Payne died on Costa Rica Street in the Palermo neighborhood and local authorities confirmed his death. According to Reuters, police responded to an "aggressive man" who was reportedly "under the influence of drugs and alcohol" when they were called.

This news comes as a shock to all One Direction fans and those who followed Liam's solo career after the band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2015.

Liam and his former bandmates, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan, have released some of the most popular songs in the music industry, including "What Makes You Beautiful." After the band announced their hiatus, Payne finally released his own music. In 2017, the late English singer released "Strip That Down" as the lead single from her upcoming debut album, LP1.

Before his death, Penn was rumored to be in a relationship with Kate Cassidy. They will be coming out in 2022. Penn is also the father of his 7-year-old son, Bear Grey Penn, whom he shares with ex-wife Cheryl Cole. The two dated from 2016 to 2018.

The Teen Choice Award winner later dated his ex-girlfriend Maya Henry. They briefly split in 2021 but reunited that year, until the relationship was permanently broken in 2022.

But Henry sought legal action against Penn earlier this week. According to the Daily Mail, the 23-year-old model has instructed her lawyers to serve a cease-and-desist letter to her ex-boyfriend, claiming he has been contacting her obsessively. Penn's last Instagram post was in May. After that, the "Story of My Life" hitmaker paid tribute to the late filmmaker Morgan Spurlock.
