Dancing With the Stars spoilers: Dancing, singing on Oscar night
Times of discover News: "Dancing With the Stars" Season 33 continues with a tribute to classic cinema on tonight's "Oscar Night." So what can we expect from the show? Well, the evening begins with professional dancers Britt Stewart and Alan Bernsten performing the roles of Richard A. Whiting and lead an opening number choreographed to the Boston Pops Orchestra and John Williams' "Hooray for Hollywood." The 13 celebrity contestants and their pro partners dance these routines before coming to an end with the dreaded double elimination at the end of the night.
- Super Bowl champion Danny Amendola and pro Witney Carson dance to Kenny Loggins' "Danger Zone."
- Fashionista and entrepreneur Anna Delvey; Ezra Sosa immediately join in to K.T. Tunstall's "Suddenly I Saw."
- Joey Graziadei of "The Bachelor" and pro Jenna Johnson will perform the rumba to Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's "Shallow."
- NBA champion Dwight Howard and pro Daniella Karagach will lead the fox trot to Ryan Gosling's "City of Stars."
- TV star Chandler Kinney and pro Brandon Armstrong will sing Billie Eilish's "What Am I Made For?" but he'll continue to rumba.
- Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher and pro Alan Bersten will play the salsa to Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes' "(I've Had) The Time of My Life."
- Model and cover girl Brooks Nader and pro Gleb Savchenko will perform the quickstep to Dolly Parton's "9 to 5."
- Olympic gymnast Stefan Nedorosik and pro Riley Arnold will play the double steps to the Prague City Philharmonic Orchestra's "Superman - Main Theme."
- Reality royalty Phaedra Parks and pro Val Chmerkovsky will foxtrot to Jennifer Hudson's "And I'm Telling You It's Not."
- Movie star Eric Roberts and pro Britt Stewart will waltz to Nino Rota and Carlo Savina's "The Godfather Waltz."
- TV icon Tori Spelling and pro Pasha Pashkov will perform "This Is Me" in front of Keala Settle and her "The Greatest Showman" group.
- "The Bachelorette" Jane Tran and pro Sasha Farber will tango to Fergie, Q-Tip and GoonRock's "A Little Party That Never Kills Anyone (All We Have)."
- Sitcom and film actor Reginald VelJohnson and pro. Emma Slater will perform the double step to Beethoven's "Ode to Joy."
Since there was no elimination in the first week of the competition, the judges' scores and audience votes from the first week will be combined with the scores and votes from the second week to determine who stays in the competition and who is eliminated. That means, for example, Roberts and VelJohnson will have to work hard after finishing at the bottom of the leaderboard in Week 1, while Kinney and Howard will get some relief after getting their top scores in Week 1. But we've certainly seen the best dancers leave the house early if they don't get help from the "DWTS" fans sitting at home. So no one is really for sure. Which routine are you looking forward to the most?
