Composer AR Rahman says Kamala Harris' 'equal' world view is an 'inspiration' for all

Times of discover News: Legendary musician AR Rahman recently performed a special concert for US Vice President Kamala Harris, in which he not only showed the power of music but also gave a social and political message. The event was organized especially to support the Indian-American community.

AR Rahman said during his performance, "Kamala Harris's vision focuses on things that unite us, rather than things that divide us. This is an important message not only for America but the whole world. As a fellow South Asian Tamil person, I am proud of her."

Kamala Harris is contesting against Republican candidate Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. Her support is considered important for the Indian-American community, especially in seven important battleground states, where more than 400,000 Indian American voters can decide the outcome of the election.

Shekhar Narasimhan, who is the President of AI Victory Fund, said, "This is not just a concert but a call to participate and vote to build the future for our communities."
